Puppets and waterfalls

We took nate to go see Aesops Fables by a well known puppeteer... at least he sat thru the whole hour, it was quite entertaining but he did whinge about wanting to leave. Everyday he says he wants to go home, I think he really misses his trains in Joburg.

There is a toy store at Bangsar Shopping Complex called, Choo Choo Train, they import Thomas the trains, bob the builder and alot of good quality toys, he can spend a long time there, we have been back at least 4 or 5 times, each time he checks out the boxes, the different toys, books and then we leave, sometimes with a toy and sometimes he is just happy looking. He made off like a bandit this trip with Aunty Shook Fun giving him cranky the crane and por-por buying a train mat and scoop the digger.

On saturday, our last day, we made an impromtu decision to go to the Bentong waterfall, near Genting with dad. So in Shook Fun's Honda, we pack in the same load as the previous blog but including gong gong. We get there in about an hour and 15 minutes and both nate and han want to strip naked and enjoy the water. For the first time Han is incredibly brave and wants to go near the falls and explore the jungle and the suspension bridge... a change from his very wary character... wonder if nate had anything to do with that?

They have both taught each other a few things, Nate now likes putting his finger into his mouth and Han has learnt to sit in his stroller in more ways than just facing forward...

The flight back was not too bad. Nate slept the first part of the way and was very happy to see his trains again. When I got back, Ike can stand... with a bit of help he can walk far distances!
