Pulai Springs

We started the holiday by heading to Johor's Pulai Spring on Xmas Eve, encountered a lot of traffic at the border and pulai springs is another Malaysian resort that looks good on the web but is a bit run down. I thought the pool with large rocks embedded would be a nice spot for them to swim but they ended up getting small cuts. The slide was rather fun...

The coffee house was so-so but the chinese restaurant was really good. The breakfast buffet was not great... so we ventured out to the coffee shops, it was really nice to see that here in Malaysia there are still restaurants where there were chinese and malay hawkers in one place, actually its the first time I've seen it, whereas I heard my mom describe this of KL when it was more common and while I was growing up it became non-existent.

Loren headed back to Singapore and we all crammed into Terry's car to head back to KL (this is wei-wei asleep at the back of the car), we checked out the new outlet place that is built by Woodbury Common's outlet near NY and marvel at the fact that they are building hotel rooms there to feed to the casino's in Singapore...

I've also been playing around with the Google statistics and people that visit this site, I didn't realise so many people read this blog (well more than the 4 people who are my original audience)...
